Directions to South Church
From the West (New York, Danbury, Waterbury): I-84 East to Exit 35 (Route 72 East). From Route 72, take third exit (Exit9) for Main Street (to Route 71). Take next two right turns onto Chestnut Street. Church is straight ahead at Chestnut and Main Streets.
From the North and East (Boston, Springfi eld, Hartford and east-of-river towns): I-84 West out of Hartford to Exit 39A (a new exit) for Route 9 South to New Britain. From Route 9, take Exit 27 for Chestnut Street (a left-lane exit). Right at end of ramp onto Chestnut. Church is three blocks ahead at Chestnut and Main.
From the South (New Haven, Middletown): Route 9 North to New Britain or from I-91 in Cromwell (Exit 22N). From Route 9, take Exit 26 for Downtown New Britain. At end of ramp, proceed straight for one block to Chestnut Street. Left onto Chestnut Street. Church is straight ahead at Chestnut and Main.
